LUXURY LEATHER CLEANER – 16 OUNCE
Luxury Leather Cleaner is a professional grade formula designed to safely clean both finished and unfinished leather.
There are two primary types of leather surfaces.
Finished Leather
Finished leather is non porous and has a protective top layer that prevents moisture from penetrating the surface.
Unfinished Leather
Unfinished leather is porous and will absorb moisture into the hide.
You can determine which type of leather you have by performing a simple water test:
Place a small drop of regular water onto the surface.
• If the water beads up, you have finished leather.
• If the water absorbs into the surface, you have unfinished leather.
This cleaner is formulated to work on both types when used properly.
IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Always test a small, inconspicuous area first.
If at any time you notice color transferring to your towel or glove, or you observe finish breakdown, stop immediately.
Full strength cleaner may cause weakened or compromised finishes to release.
If you see any color removal or instability, discontinue use and contact us before proceeding.
Keep in mind that testing outside the primary seating area may not reflect the true wear of high use areas.

FINISHED LEATHER CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
For heavily soiled finished leather with buildup and years of accumulation.
Luxury Leather Cleaner may be used full strength on finished leather.
Step 1 Preparation
• Wear a latex glove.
• Place a bath and body exfoliating glove over the latex glove.
• Pour cleaner directly into the palm of the exfoliating glove.
• Allow it to absorb so you are not holding excess liquid beyond what sits in the cup of your hand.
Step 2 Application
• Apply to the cushion or section you wish to clean.
• Use the glove to gently work the cleaner into the surface.
• This method is ideal for heavy soil, body oils, grease, and embedded dirt.
Let the chemistry do the work. Do not over scrub.
Step 3 Initial Wipe Down
• After 5 to 10 seconds, wipe clean using a brand new microfiber towel.
• On the first pass, wipe promptly due to heavier soil removal.
• Do not allow the cleaner to dry with dirt on the surface.
A lightly damp microfiber towel may be used to remove excess cleaner.
Step 4 Second Application
• Apply a second, slightly more generous application.
• Do not use the exfoliating glove on this pass.
• Allow to dwell for 20 to 30 seconds.
• Wipe using a clean section of microfiber with each pass
UNFINISHED LEATHER CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
For porous leather and all recently restored pieces.
Unfinished leather absorbs moisture. Cleaner must be diluted.
Dilution Ratio
25 percent cleaner
75 percent warm water
Example 32 ounce mixture:
• 8 ounces cleaner
• 24 ounces warm water
Mix thoroughly.
Application
• Use a brand new microfiber towel.
• Lightly apply the diluted solution.
• You will notice absorption. This is normal.
• Do not over saturate.
A lightly damp Magic Eraser may be used with straight passes only.
IMPORTANT EXPECTATION
Most stains in unfinished leather will not be removed.
Stains in unfinished leather behave like a tattoo within the hide. Excessive scrubbing often causes further damage.
If deep staining, discoloration, or wear exists, professional restoration may be required.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR RECENTLY RESTORED PIECES
If your furniture has been restored by Luxury Leather Restoration, always follow the Unfinished Leather Cleaning Protocol using the diluted ratio.
Even though restored leather may appear finished, it requires gentler maintenance.
AFTER CLEANING
Once leather is completely dry, proceed with Luxury Leather Conditioner to restore moisture and apply protective defense.
